Wish Upon a Wedding
Swank Events believes in giving back whenever possible, so when we recently came across Wish Upon a Wedding, we were eager to learn more about how we could help.
WUW is an amazing nonprofit organization dedicated to creating dream weddings and vow renewals for patients facing terminal illness or serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. This organization is giving couples who may not have the time, energy, money or resources to plan their own wedding the opportunity to enjoy a special day with their closest family and friends. Free from the stress and concerns of existing health issues, the wish recipients are able to enjoy a day filled with happiness, love and celebration.
Wish Upon a Wedding is now able to grant wishes in all 50 states and Swank Events is so proud to be a local Wish Granter for this inspiring organization!
There are so many ways you can help:
Have a gently worn wedding dress or perhaps some wedding items leftover from your big day?
Consider donating them! Wish Upon a Wedding has partnered with Brides for a Cause to make this possible.
Getting married soon and already have everything you need?
You may consider asking your guests to make a donation to Wish Upon a Wedding in lieu of gifts or you may want to make a donation on behalf of your guests in lieu of favors.
There are volunteer and donation opportunities as well. Please help us spread the word about the great things this nonprofit is doing!
