Coloring the Seasons: Winter Color Palettes
All of the snow hitting the northeast these days has us thinking about some beautiful seasonal colors you must incorporate into your special event! While every season offers unique color palettes, we especially love the endless possibilities of these romantic winter color combinations. Think sparkling white snow, evergreens and winterberry red.
Red and White
Red and white is the perfect winter color combination! Red really pops when it is paired with white and this winning combo creates a romantic, warm atmosphere for your special event. A small touch of color can have a big impact! Perhaps you want to put your bridesmaids in a deep red dress, or go with a neutral color and have them carry bright red roses. Or as in the photo above, the bride may also want to accessorize with a red shawl.
Blue and Silver
Blue and silver can transform your space into a winter wonderland! Sparkling silvers and cool blues can be incorporated into your event in a variety of ways. Try using these colors in your centerpieces, linen or other décor as illustrated above. For bold color, put your bridesmaids in blue dresses and accessorize with silver jewelry.
Black and Gold
This is a classic color combination that never goes out of style. Most often associated with a New Year’s Eve reception, black and gold are perfect colors for an evening winter wedding! Gold is a great accent color that can be used in almost every detail of your big day – from the flatware to the cake and even your bridesmaid’s dresses, shoes, and jewelry.
Starting with your save the dates, the perfect color palette will set the tone and can be carried throughout your entire event. Ask us for ideas on how to incorporate your favorite colors into your big day.
