What an amazing event theme for a great company! We had so much fun planning this holiday event for Vestmark! Special thanks to Kristen Renneker Photography for capturing the roaring 20’s theme perfectly in these photos!
Using a consistent tone-on-tone color scheme not only worked with the hotel décor, but also had an elegant feeling to it with the different metal tones called out in the linen and centerpieces, contributing to the overall look.
The flower arrangements have the personality of a 1920’s flapper with the beads, feathers and fringe! This layered look with simple gold balls in the vase give the centerpiece a sense of grander without using a lot of flowers.

Events with a theme that lends itself to other activities – such as gambling – are fun to work with! In this case, we collaborated with Casino Productions to rent gaming tables, chips and dealers, creating an authentic experience for the guests. Offering prizes for the top winners at your event is a great way to encourage everyone to have fun while at the tables!

Recalling the feeling of Prohibition, simple mason jars holding condiments (and not “bathtub gin”) is another whimsical touch to the evening. You can customize menu options to serve items popular in the 20’s – which might include a Waldorf salad!

When not eating, enjoying 1920’s mixed drinks or playing at gaming tables, guests participated in photo booth fun! An array of hats, feather boas and 1920’s era props were offered as another way to get attendees into the theme of the evening.
Everyone had fun with the Great Gatsby theme!

The Snap Boxx: Alan Duro
We first worked with Al on Lydia and Henrik’s wedding at the Lyman Estate and then again at Kim and James’ wedding at the New England Aquarium. We think one of the coolest features of The Snap Boxx is that you can leave a video message for the couple, in addition to taking fun photos and posting them immediately to social media! We loved working with The Snap Boxx and hope to do so again soon. Read on to learn more about Al and his business!
Where did you grow up?
Hingham, MA
How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
We’ve been in business just over 1 year. After seeing a “GIF Booth” at a friend’s wedding in New York I decided it was the perfect business for me. It combined skills I already had, localized internet marketing, with a fun event-based business.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Going to events and seeing people have fun with the booth. It’s great to be able to share important events in people’s lives and help them create lasting memories.
How would you describe your style?
An old school concept met with current technology to create memories in new and fun ways.
What’s your guilty pleasure?

What’s your favorite quote?

What makes you unique in your field?
The “open-air” booth layout and the animated GIF capabilities separate us from most other photo booth rental companies. However, the green screen capabilities and willingness to fully customize our events, backdrops, and prints around our clients’ needs is what really sets us apart.
What is the best piece of advice you can give to a couple?
Keep making each other laugh and don’t take things too seriously.
