Larz Anderson Auto Museum
If you’re a car lover or planning an event for one, this is the perfect venue! The Larz Anderson Auto Museum has been recognized as one of the top 25 tourist attractions in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal. With its stunning view of the Boston skyline, the park carries the distinction as being one of the top five most romantic places in the Boston area for a marriage proposal. This beautiful building, located just outside of Boston, can accommodate a variety of events, so be sure to check it out today!
The museum’s historic Carriage House was built in 1888 by the first official architect of Boston, Edmund Wheelwright, and modeled after the Chateau de Chaumont-Sur-Loire in France. The 64-acre estate once belonged to Larz and Isabel Anderson, who began their love affair with the automobile in 1899, shortly after they married. The idea for the Larz Anderson Auto Museum grew out of a Sunday tradition when the Andersons would open the doors to their spectacular Carriage House on Sunday afternoons and share their mounting collection of marvelous American and European vehicles with the public.
The Andersons’ collection began with the purchase of their first vehicle, an 1899 Winton 4-hp Runabout. Today, this vehicle remains on permanent display in the Museum’s lower gallery. As their interest in the automobile grew, the Andersons continued to purchase and subsequently retire vehicles to the Carriage House all the way up until the passing of Isabel Anderson in 1948.
The Andersons purchased an automobile nearly every year, acquiring a total of thirty-two brand new motorcars during the course of their lives. Fourteen of these vehicles and many of the Andersons’ original horse-drawn carriages remain in the Museum’s permanent collection.
The Larz Anderson Auto Museum is a hugely popular setting for corporate events, cocktail parties, barbecues, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and wedding receptions. The Carriage House can accommodate up to 150 people, and guests are sure to have an unforgettable experience in the majestic main gallery of the Museum amidst breathtaking vintage automobiles. Since there is no separate “function room”, you and your guests may fully experience all that the Museum has to offer. Staff will also be on duty throughout the evening to assist you. There is ample free parking, and the Great Lawn of the Carriage House can be tented year-round to accommodate larger parties of up to 500.
The Auto Museum has a list of authorized caterers of which you must choose from and additional preferred vendors that are optional.
The fee for the use of the Museum ranges from $2,000 to $5,500 depending on the day of week and type of event.

Red and white is the perfect winter color combination! Red really pops when it is paired with white and this winning combo creates a romantic, warm atmosphere for your special event. A small touch of color can have a big impact! Perhaps you want to put your bridesmaids in a deep red dress, or go with a neutral color and have them carry bright red roses. Or as in the photo above, the bride may also want to accessorize with a red shawl.

Daddy’s Bonetown Burgers Food Truck: Rich Cambriello
While a food truck might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a wedding or event vendor, we’ve seen them surge in popularity over the last few years. Whether they’re the main caterer or just providing a fun late-night snack, food trucks are a great alternative to traditional event catering. Recently we had the good fortune to work with Daddy’s Bonetown Burgers food truck for a surprise 50th birthday party we coordinated over Memorial Day, and we had a BLAST working with owner Rich Cambriello and his crew. We caught up with Rich and asked him to open up and tell us a little more about himself.
