5 Winter Party Ideas

5 Winter Party Ideas

While the holiday season is upon us, it’s always good to plan ahead for a fun way to help make winter a little warmer for employees at the workplace.  Here are 5 ideas to have up your sleeve to create a festive spirit during the coldest months:

1 – Winter Themed Food Stations: How about a hot chocolate bar for a cold wintery day? Set up a table with a white table cloth with a large carafe of hot water or milk and containers of different “mix-ins” for the hot beverage ~ marshmallows, whipped cream and peppermint sticks. Yum! Or warm everyone up with a hearty soup bar paired with a variety of breads. It will warm everyone’s hearts and bodies!

2 – Snow & Light: Add wood or paper snowflake decorations to carry a winter theme through a room or venue. Use string lights to create an intimate atmosphere or highlight a table display. Items like these will be on clearance right after Christmas so take advantage of sale prices!

3 – Bright Berries: Rather than the usual flower arrangement, tall stems of bright colored berries in a simple vase will add a pop of color in a landscape of white!

4 – Faux New Year: It’s never too late to celebrate the start of 2018!  Set-up a mock-tail station and a board of inspirational quotes to set the tone.

Ready to try a Mango Mule? Non-alcohol delight!

5 – Winter Olympics: Bronze, silver and gold can play into your decor as the 2018 games open February 9th in Pyeong Chang, South Korea. Create Olympic trivia questions for raffle prizes and award medals!
